RUBINSKI X BRUNO Limited Edition Sawtooth + Flora SET
Sawtooth 13X18” lego letterpress print and Flora 13X18” lego letterpress print along with a 4X6 letterpress mini print. Created at Bruno Press in St. Joseph, Minnesota on a 1960 Vandercook No. 4 Proof Press. This print was created using the reduction method of removing surface area every time a new color was added and sent through the press. This causes overlap and ghost shadows that give each print a charm of their own. Embracing the Wabi Sabi of this process, expect a one-of-a-kind quality in each print!
The artwork is my love letter to Anishinaabe , Dutch and Scandinavian floral motifs and quilt blocks.
Limited press of 33 prints. Frames NOT included.
Hot off the press, this reduction block consists of eight layers of carving and printing and it lines up so perfectly. This is my most recent block and it is spectacular!
